We believe that the integration of semantic technologies in the definition, categorization and interrelation of cloud resources, as well as in the monitoring of SLAs, can bring considerable value to the management of cloud resources, enhancing the manageability of these resources and further enabling this initiative towards a more horizontal management of the cloud.
Finally, we also identified an important synergy between the proactive and reactive auto-scaling mechanics and the implementation of the actor model paradigm applied to these purposes, contributing, through the design itself, to a coherent optimization and scaling of the different cloud resources.
